Half day of work today and then it's the long holidays to Monday. Everyone was pretty much in the festive mood at the office. Oh we had a lucky draw among ourselves to share a huge hamper that we received. My prize was pretty good, a box of Rochere :) Haha way better than some of my collegues who got a box of Fatt Choy and another who got nian gao. *sniggers*

Just returned from the River Ang Bao. Was there specially to catch the fireworks tonight. Somehow the atmosphere is just so different when you are there with the crowds to aww and ohh over the spectacular sight. Did you know that they actually had smily faces fireworks as well?! No kidding! Alexis and I were so amused, we were laughing at them. The finale of the fireworks was a breathtaking sight. The next time for fireworks should be on the 9th of August. In the meantime, enjoy the Chinese New Year all and have a bountiful harvest of red packets.

Sparklers, lighting them are a yearly affair with the cousins

Careful now we don't need fried children
