Chinese New Year

You wouldn't usually find me in Chinatown admist the crowds during the Chinese New Year period. But since I don't have intentions to go during the period, I went before the CNY starts. That didn't quite make sense, did it? Well anyway, decided to be a little cheena-fied and go down to Chinatown with Alexis today. Summary of the sights,

*Chinese songs blasting away* Tiger girls promoting beer* guy dressed as cai shen ye * ornaments all in red and gold* year of monkey* fire crackers?* goodies of all kinds* long queue for BBQ pork * shopping for new year clothes *auntie bargaining* enthusiastic photographers snapping away

Well today the efforts of my hard work appeared on the Straits Times :) Something to do with Chinese New year too. Go check out the print ad for the Schroder SGD/USD Premier Payout Funds. Been slogging for the launch of this fund for the past month. Endless nights of OT that killed my beauty sleep. Must have been all the stress working on this that I fell sick before the Christmas too. That my friend is a sure sign that you're neglecting your body. And no I didn't design it lah :P What do you think? You'll have to agree it's very apt for the New Year yeah.
