WAR.. We are right!

War between the US and iraq have started today. Mom commented, what a day, coz it's her birthday today. It's tragic the whole idea of war. What's more Saddam is using innocent lives as human shield. Moreover there's the possibility of a chemical war. Innocent lives will be lost. Guess it really makes me appreciate how safe I am here in my tiny island.

In fact, this really reminds of how truely blessed I am. I don't have to live in constant fear for my life or the lives of my loved ones. I don't have to worry about not having a roof over my head, not enough food. In fact, this makes me realise just how trivia all my worries are now. I feel secure, I feel thankful. Oh but this morning, when the news of war broke, there were alot of planes flying above my flat. Not very unusual as I live near the Paya Lebar Airbase. But just seems like there were more then usual number of planes.

Don't know when the war will end. Doubt it will be over so soon, probably few weeks. Guess it doesn't sound that bimbotic if the contestants of the Miss Universe actually say they wish for World Peaceafter all..
