The big day is almost here... just 8 more days. I cant believe how much preparation had gone into just one day. But it's worth it for a special day, a very very special day for Alexis & I :)

But in the midst of preparing for the wedding, it has also taught us many things about each other. Like even till now, we still dun see eye to eye on so things. And I dun think we always have to, though it will make our decision making much simplier and happier minus all the needless quarrels. But it's learning to accept each others views and appreciating our difference that makes this relationship of ours grow in depth and understanding. And I also come to love the different sides of Alexis, though there are sometimes I have still yet to come to love :P

But I'm really so touched and thankful for all our family and friends who have helped us for the preparation. We're indeed blessed and loved.

I finally got back my wedding photos! And they turned out better than I expected, so that was just way cool.

Feeling left out

I don't know if it's the pre-wedding stress, I'm feeling low :( Birthday was a "shitty" one this year. Erm not trying to be rude, but I was down with diarrhea and the only time I was out of the house on my birthday was to see the doc. No presents too, not even from Alexis *complains* no card too...

Well at least the cell cared to come and surprise me on my birthday. Thanks ya all. That at least made it a bit more memorable for my 26th birthday. Still feel unloved *pouts*

Going to wash the house this weekend and sad to say we're on our own. Gotta roll the sleeves and pants up and get dirty. Maybe I'll put it behind me and do what else needs to be done.

I finally get to cast my vote this year. After years of walk over, finally the opposition is gaining ground at this year's election and coming out in greater force. And base on what's been reported on the papers and on the news, things are really getting very interesting. Well lets see what happens on 6th May and may the best party win.

Anyway I'm not sure if this party who has hung up posters in my area will win. To garner support, they have hung posters of themselves with the diagram of a box with a tick instead of the cross. Don't they realise that if voters drew a tick instead of a cross, these votes are considered void? So smart, so smart.

Finally the house will be ready by this weekend. Went to meet the contractor today and gave him a list of items to rectify. Washing can start this weekend!!! Absolutley delighted and excited. Then next week it's when the furniture get delivered and more shopping at Ikea too! Yippee :) I cant believe it that that wedding is only in a month's time.

Very soon I'll be walking down the aisle in my wedding gown. Very soon I'll be taking my vows and saying I do. Very soon I'll be a mrs. Very soon I'll be shifting out to start a new family with Alexis. Very soon I'll be all independent and dependent. Very soon I'll be someone's wife. Very very soon...
