On to a new year.. 2006

Before the new year started, I thought about the many events that happened in my life last year and I'm just so amazed by the goodness and faithfullness of God.

In 2005..
Mar: Got my first promotion at my current job after working for a 1 1/2. Nothing short than the favor of the Lord.
Apr: Proposal from Alexis :) So sweet, he had a surprise for me and proposed on my birthday when we were at the peak in Hong Kong. What a blessed woman I am.
Jun: Successfully applied for our new home at McNair after 2 failed attempt at balloting. What better location for my boyfriend who loves McDonalds (see the similarity)
Dec: Sis attended church camp and decided to come back to Church!! And I got a new job which I've been praying for. Christmas drama was a BLAST and next year will be a bigger production!

And many many more events, big and small that made 2005 a great year. And I know that in the year 2006, it will be an awesome one. Yes and in fact, I feel in my spirit that 2006 is a year of newness and will be a year of breakthroughs for me.

Marvel at God's goodness as Mom came to attend church on the first service of the year and both mom and dad were at church today and even went down for the altar call. Can you say a BIG AMEN to that! I teared, I cried. Even for times when I feel I don't care enough or love enough to pray for them, yet God did what I cant do.. to move in their hearts and bring them back to the house of God. He's really so awesome. And I know that one day, one day, Matthew will come back too. One day, I know I can see my whole family in church once again. Oh how heaven will rejoice :)

I'm so looking forward to 2006 and what will unfold. Yes, my wedding, new house, new job and more importantly the new challenges and new adventures in God. Exciting, exciting.
